I prefer the Tabata workout because it has breaks implemented in it. I feel as though this makes me able to do more reps per workout and that I could last for a longer amount of time.
Before the workout I feel more stressed because I feel like I have a million things to do and working out will distract me from my other work. After the workout, my stress levels decrease because I realize that as long as I focus on one thing at a time I will be able to complete everything.
I am motivated to follow the workouts each week because I want to increase my muscle mass and improve my overall fitness level as much as possible, as well as the fact that I am being marked.
As a 19 year old male, I should be eating between 8-10 servings of fruits and vegetables each day. I am not getting enough, I think I eat about 5 servings of fruits and vegetables per day on average. I could ensure that I eat the correct servings of food and vegetables by forcing myself to eat them as a snack throughout the day.
The 6 essential nutrients are divided into Micronutrients and Macronutrients. Micronutrients consist of 1. Water 2. Vitamins 3. Minerals and Macronutrients consist of 4. Protein 5. Fat. 6. Carbohydrate.
4 Carbs that we should eat more of are complex carbohydrates such as whole grain breads, cereals, grains, and rice.
4 Carbs that we should eat less of are simple carbohydrates such as candies, sugar drinks, chocolates and straight sugar.
1 nutrition improvement that I will consider for health improvement is to have less chocolate before going to bed. I do this as a reward after finishing my homework for the night, but I know I shouldn’t have simple carbohydrates such as chocolates and other desserts at night, especially before going to bed.
